How many pendant lights over a kitchen island?

One large fixture or a row of smaller ones both work; together they should span the same half to two-thirds of the island. Two lights hung over a 240 cm island want about 120–160 cm between the outer edges, not each. A single wide fixture reads calmer; a row gives more even light along a working surface.

How high should pendant lights hang above a kitchen island?

Hang the light so there is 75–90 cm (roughly 30–35 inches) between the countertop and its lowest point. That is high enough to see across the island and low enough to light the work surface. This is an interior-design convention, not a Loomiosa measurement. Our lamps ship with a 150–300 cm textile cable depending on model and size, shortened on installation, so the exact height is set on site.

Which sculptural pendant lights work over a kitchen island?

The most sculptural choice is a piece that reads as one continuous form from every seat: the Libra, a single 127 or 190 cm line of light; the Model 8, one tube drawn into the symbol of infinity, 81 to 163 cm wide; and the Galaxy, suspended at an angle, 65 to 135 cm across. All three are anodised aluminium tubes held in 3D-printed brackets, assembled by hand in Szentendre, Hungary.
