The exploration and images of the universe has inspired many designers. Daniel Mato is no exception in this manner, he has always admired the extraodinary shapes, that can be found in space. He designed the Space pendant to show his respect and fascination towards the creating power of our universe . The form of this pendant resembles space objects, the asteroids’ orbits and the impact of gravity. However some people get the impression of an angel, or a graceful bird.

The shape of this pendant is a modern interpretation of a balance or as it called ’Libra’. It’s elongated form makes it particularly suitable to be suspended over dining tables.

The Model 8 originates from one of our previous creation, the ’Space 96’. It’s form reminds some people of infinity, others say it looks like a flying butterfly.

The main inspiration of this design was how the designer and we all feel when we look at night sky. We can’t help but wonder what it feels like to be up there amongst the stars and how small we are. The bulb, as the center of this design, resembles the Sun and how it is only a small part of something much greater, our galaxy. The Galaxy pendant was designed to be hung angularly to emphasise its shape. Due to the flat form, it fits well in spaces with low ceiling.

The Diva model was inspired by the display of mother nature in modern statuary and contemporary architecture. As the name suggests, Diva’s ethereal and curvy shape resembles a stylish and elegant lady who draws attention with her presence and stands out from the crowd. With its majestic and graceful design.

During the creation of the Leaf pendant, the designer was mainly inspired by the uniqueness of the palm tree leaves, while travelling in Asia. The special feature of the model is, that the design creates a different visual experience from every point of view. The purpose of this unusual shape is to make this pendant a captivating and outstanding element of any room on its own. Due to its elongated form, it best suits rooms with high interiors. The lamp itself creates a unique and exclusive atmosphere in any room and it can also be emphasized by additional lighting (e.g. spot lights).
